Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Deb, we're waiting on a reply for an application we put in on Thursday.  We offered $50 more for a short term lease and apparently they're interested 0 just checking out our references etc.  Fingers crossed because it is ideal and not far from our house or the school James goes to.  In the meantime we are all gardening, packing and doing a bit of maintenance - the dog put a small hole in the fly wire sceen out the back to Frank is just replacing that.  We didn't need this!

Hi Laney

well, the finals are upon us already. it's a shame Essendon didn't get through, they' ve been playing some very good games lately. Pleased to see Melbourne through... Their first finals in 12 years

my hopes are still with the Tigers though Woman LOL

Hi all,

A weekend of no footy coming up.

Commencing Thur 6th Sept here are the AFL matches (winners go to prelim final, losers play winners of elim games) -

Richmond v Hawthorn

West Coast v Collingwood

And the elimination games -

Melbourne v Geelong

Sydney v GWS

Hoping Rich, Melb, or GWS get through to the grand final.

Sorry but the others have a good turn. Smiley Happy

Kopes. I see GWS and Collingwood as being  "danger" sides and I'd like to see a Richmond/Melbourne final

My post should have read - Others have had a good turn.

Deb, Rich v Melb would be great for the old clubs and footy. Rich n Melb can meet in grand final but not GWS. They would meet in prelim.

I remember in the 70's 80's it was always Rich, Carlton, Melb and Hawthorn at the top of the ladder.

Deb & Kopes, I would also like to see a Tigers/Demons final.  Our dd follows the Demons and a young son of Kim's cousin died from muscular dystrophy last year and was an avid Demons follower.  They were so good to him - invited him to the jumper presentations etc and even sent a rep to his funeral - he was only 14.  A good family team.

Frank was happy with his Bombers.  They are coming back strong and should be a congtention next year.  Now the bluddy cricket starts!

Waves to laney - hope your brain is not work addled now and you are relaing in retirement.
