The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

It's really nice today Debra, few clouds around, but nothing will come of it.

 

I was reading about the tennis ball sized hail up north .. what a nightmare that is, I just can't imagine how everyone coped with that with the damage ...  Smiley Surprised

Our friends in USA live near a place that has been flattened this week by wild storms, totally unexpected for this time of year too ...  Smiley Frustrated

I thought it was the wrong time of year for tornadoes, but I wasn't sure. they had about 60 over there the other day  Woman Surprised

Yes, I'm thankful for that too Debra.

 

Few years ago, there was a tornado on Christmas Eve in Launceston city, cut a really strange path through the valley and up across the hill then was gone and that was it.  Did an awful lot of damage in a couple of minutes, very strange thing.

Tas, we were on the outer edge of one here too and it caused a bit damage in the next suburb, thank godness they're rare here and I  hope it stays that way lol

 

it was a bit frightening with the horizontal rain and swirling wind, my kids were only little then and I remember my daughter was crying
