I thought Meghan's dress was absolutely stunning with the clever use of her veil and the train which did not weigh her down. Her dress was just right for her body without all the crazy stuff, but at the same time, the diamond tiara set the whole thing off.
The perfect dress... without the pudding type puffery; elegant, classy and without pretension ... not overwhelming, not underwhelming ...

Apparently, while watching Princess Diana and Charlie's wedding I asked my nan why Princess Di was wearing a pavlova
I don't remember asking that, so I'm not sure if it was a kid being a kid or if it was nan's imagination (or if it was in fact what she thought but blamed me)

To give Meghan credit, it has been reported that she paid for her own 2 dresses,
the bridesmaids' dresses, pageboys' oufits and is paying for the honeymoon.
That's a tidy sum.
Wonder if she's broke now?
The bridal gown will go into a museum.
