AM3: "Text - Russia is considering banning McDonalds"
I agree with A3 (being somewhat pedantic) ?
The watchdog agency (Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Inspection Service) has previously been accused of acting in the political interests of the Kremlin, banning Georgian wine as Tbilisi strengthened ties with Washington and spirits from Moldova after the former Soviet republic boosted its drive to partner with the European Union.
There is a difference between import bans, and shutting down a domestic internal, OS parented, franchise.
"In April, some Russian politicians called for all McDonald's outlets in the country to be shut after the company closed its restaurants in Crimea"
But but, if they wanted the lot closed down, would not the Crimea ones be a start?.
Weekend "news", low in accuracy, high in mindless provocation.

"Maccas is a meal? lol"
Yes kabarine, (lol), because they produce meals that are considered universally reasonable, and not subject to uninformed bias based upon the parent company, "evil USA" , rather than a knowledge of nutrition.
2009
FAST food giant McDonald's has been given the green light to sell Big Macs in Melbourne's new Royal Children's Hospital.
Gosh!

i had a grand angus burger regular meal the other day, no ice with the drink and no cheese with the burger
theres only one thing i hesitate when buying maccas is the mayonnaise they use on everything
i think it is an unhealthy mock up of their own
occasional consumption is ok for my diet
it's a pity about their mayo though
