Global Sea Ice Reference Page: Arctic and Antarctic current graphs and imagery

If vanishing sea ice was evidence of global warming, what does increasing ice mean? Can’t wait to hear the scaremongers explain this away:
ANTARCTIC sea ice has expanded to record levels for April, increasing by more than 110,000sq km a day last month to nine million square kilometres.
The National Snow and Ice Data Centre said .... “This exceeds the past record for the satellite era by about 320,000sq km, which was set in April 2008,...”
Increased ice cover in Antarctic continues to be at odds with falling Arctic ice levels, where the summer melt has again pushed levels well below the average extent for 1981-2010… [But] the April Arctic minimum was 270,000sq km higher than the record April low, which occurred in 2007.
Together, that leaves us with above-average sea ice:

"Monman - I am fully aware of what you have shown, we will also receive radiation from Fukushima, but we just have longer thankfully"
So why would "hordes of Chinese" wish to come here then? Because the S hemisphere background radiation levels are only a year different from those in the N hemisphere, and anyway, the Fukishima contribution is below other everyday sources and falling :
The additional dose from Fukushima radionuclides to humans consuming tainted PBFT in the United States was calculated to be 0.9 and 4.7 μSv for average consumers and subsistence fishermen, respectively. Such doses are comparable to, or less than, the dose all humans routinely obtain from naturally occurring radionuclides in many food items, medical treatments, air travel, or other background sources.
the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) indicate that, outside the geographical areas most affected by radiation, even in locations within Fukushima prefecture, the predicted risks remain low and no observable increases in cancer above natural variation in baseline rates are anticipated.
The total radiation from Fukushima is currently estimated to be about 5.5% of that released by Chernobyl.
Writing conspiracy nonsense (media blackout) does not make it so, writing about unverified/sourced science which is nonsense is pointless, because it taints all similar and future posts.
Perhaps we could debate NW's repeat topic as I still wish to find out the relevance of annual Southern Ocean sea ice area to global atmospheric variations.

Youth Sue the US Government to Halt Climate Change under Public Trust Doctrine
Youth have filed lawsuits against the US federal government and all 50 states to ensure a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and to prevent climate catastrophe. The lawsuits rely on the long established legal principle of the public trust doctrine.
The public trust doctrine requires the government to protect and maintain certain shared resources fundamental for human health and survival.
Complaints have been filed in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington and in a federal court in California.

Now that the Alarmist theory has crashed and burnt...... Today's weather....
Moist easterly winds and a trough are causing showers and a few storms in eastern QLD and on the NSW coast.
A high is keeping much of western NSW, VIC, TAS, SA, the NT and WA dry and mostly sunny.
A front is bringing a brief burst strong wind and showers to southwest WA.

i'm not associated with Gore, you brought him in to the thread, you also brought spencer into threads ''i think creationism more likely''
if that doesn't ring alarm bells well maybe you are a creationist ? i'd love to hear you speak on that topic

Spencer's research work is funded by NASA, NOAA, DOE and the DOT. If NASA don't mind.......I don't mind....lol.
Personally.....I lean more towards Buddhisms.......however the two religions do have common ground.
..So no...I don't mind if Roy is a Christian.....at least he is not an Atheist......they have anger issues......
