What do you think? Mum is running alongside but not beside him.....
7 months, is he strong enough in the neck to be doing that? I know some babies walk this early but I don't know if I could allow it, even if he does like it.

I know no boat is pulling that little set of skis but even with dad pulling the contraption one fall could be fatal...
I think they are well intended but I would have waited until he was two or three.
Mum could not keep up with the little boy at times... one fall, hits his head on either the water or sand or even the contraption they made and that could be fatal.
The ossification of the bones of the skull cause the fontanelle to close over by age 1.5 yrs to 2 yrs old.. This baby is still at risk and should be protected. I might be a bit more sympathetic if they had a little helmet on his head.

Yes I was thinking a helmet at least.

lack of helmet was my first thought and they do make small ones. You see very young children on skiis in the winter. As for his neck....well no different to some in a stroller while the adult runs.no support at all and their little heads bouncing all over the place. or in a swing?

Young kids are far tougher than you give them credit for.
There's a photo kicking around the internet somewhere that shows a line of babies hanging by their hands from what looks like a washing line.
It shows you how strong their sense of self preservation and strength is and how little credit adults give babies for toughness.
Kids can endure far greater feats of endurance and strength than most adults can.
They don't comprehend the feelings of fear we all tend to learn from those around us as we grow.

In a pram they have the seat back as support if needed. ....
could be similar to shaken baby syndrome, depending how often they do it I suppose, same as swings?

Muscles only get stronger when they are used and exercised, no matter what the age of the person concerned.
The more you wrap a kid up in cottonwool, the less favours you do it.
That also applies to strengthening the immune system by being allowed to experience the day to day bugs and germs.
We can't live in a world free of germs, so our systems have to learn how to live ad cope with them or we just get sick all the time.

7 months, that's wrong.
