Should global warming be a hush topic when there are severe bushfires?

FYI......two children  have been arrested for starting the fires in NSW........kiddie arsonists.....

I have just read that a fifth child has been implicated in the bushfire's.....

What would be a fitting punishment?...........

One child, at least, is 11 yo and has reportedly been charged with starting 2 fires, joining 3 others who have been charged.

Shameful behaviour.

 14 yo charged with intentionally causing fire and being reckless to its spread, and causing or setting fire to the property of another or the Crown.

He was refused bail and was due to appear in the Children's Court on Monday.

On Sunday two girls aged 12 & 13 charged with deliberately lighting a grass fire in Sydney's west.

I am not sure, needs to be a very serious punishment.  The 14 yo who was not given bail, will have plenty of time to do some serious thinking about his actions.

I can't believe 3 (?) separate fires in 3 diff locations were lit by 11 - 15 yo's.
