Should global warming be a hush topic when there are severe bushfires?

I don't think so, what do others think?

Re: Should global warming be a hush topic when there are severe bushfires?

The temperature during the fires of 1851, were 47.5 degrees.

The BOM website- average warm days are currently 31.5 degrees for the same time of year.

Heat waves and fires.....typically Australian.

ref your comment: "An increase in fires= increase in arsonists."....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

is just plain incorrect, untrue and downright stupid......what? the 'outcome' equals a proposed/unproven 'cause' !??

ref your 'use' of the phrase:..."...typically Australian...."

I guess if you keep repeating ANY phrase often enough, some/many will just accept then believe it.

Your use of this phrase here is unAustralian, twisted, far from the TRUTH.....

Re: Should global warming be a hush topic when there are severe bushfires?

repetitive drone like statements is not an Aussie characteristic that endears........

Some here would not know a naturally lit Australian bush fire from a deliberately bush fire - unAustralian folk would blame little children.

The ongoing recent media hype and attempts here in forums by certain posters to steer focus away from :

......  "WHO LIT THE REMAINING 90+ bush fires in NSW?" ..............................

is serious when considering whom and what/whose practices are these posters shielding.
