I don't know you are the one claiming they are occuring more frequently. As a resident of NSW I have not noticed that over the last 12 years.

icy - you stated/claimed there has been an increase in bushfires in the last decade (or similar words). I merely asked you to provide some more information about that. So far you have only made a lot of smart retorts in return.

 

I take it you just made that statement off the top of you head then, with no facts to back it up?

but increasing in frequency over the last few decades.

 

As have floods and other freak weather conditions throughout the world.

Great joz* but suggest we question/research who and what their agendas - the bodies/corporations that are behind/control and fund both CSIRO and even the Bureau of Met.

Suggest you and other like nay sayers, open up some of the follow on this link, wake up, open your eyes and minds,read, observe YOUR environ, then comment once you are aware of some PRESENT day facts instead of referring to irrelevant theories or comparing recent events to past events-from over 100 years ago which cannot be compared because recent weather events are not naturally caused:
