I can see their faces. Isn't that what the non burqa thing is all about. What these men are wearing is no worse than someone in a trench coat for example. It is the covering of faces that I think should be not allowed.

The post I made is in reply to a specific post about what can be hidden under them, not the covering of the face.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.
A lot of things can be hidden in clothing. I knew this woman (natural mother of foster child) who always wore long skirts. She could walk into a store and put a small tv etc up her skirt and between her knees, then walk out without being obvious.
To prevent to hiding of weapons we would have to all go around starkers ewww

the question was:
How many of you would feel comfortable with someone walking down the street wearing a balaclava and a huge coat that could conceal an AK47
don't you think a person wearing a cassock
and a face mask would look suspicious?

Just a tad julia, just a tad.
If the balaclava was out of the equation then the AK47 could still be hidden but at least we would know who shot us.
Personally it is the hiding of identity that I don't like.
