Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter Mecca  by Saudi Law.

Why would you want to?

why would you NOT want to see it?

you dont have to be religious to appreciate

the history of the city.   it would be an amazing

place to visit.

I am a Catholic......................... I do not follow everything in the Bible.................. not a matter of choosing the bits I don't want to follow but choosing what is important to me.

Then you are not a Catholic according to the bible. You are a 2014 version of a Catholic.

Maybe because they do not want their holly place to be over run by uncouth half naked tourists behaving inappropriately.  Just as we limit the access to Uluru.

I think that was actually Nova's post requoted by village person, & I tend to agree with it. I think it's inappropriate to enter anyone's place of worship dressed in shorts & a bikini top

But what if you could hide it behind a religion? What if your G*d told you what to wear each day? Remember we're talking about religion here not rational behaviour.
