My apologies if I am wrong, I commented at the time and replied to   iapetus_rocks but maybe it was the other id.

Re: Should the Burqa be banned in Australia

If indeed you are vindicated then I would, despite your comments and judgement about people and posters in this place, offer an apology. However, given that my post (and azureline's post) were both in direct response to your post, and referenced your ID via the reply function (which is system-generated), then I fail to see how it could be any other way outside an eBay glitch. It may remain as a bit of a "dog ate my homework" moment, neither able to be proved or disproved.

pct001wine - it has been my experience here

that if you reply to a post which ends up being

removed - the reply will no longer be to the poster

whose post was removed. it will show to be in

response to an existing post before the removed post.

I'd ask this woman just why she was wearing an hijab, and if she said it was for religious reasons then I'd ask her why she is wearing lipstick and eye make-up and has had her eyebrows "sculptured" just a little.

Because, the exhortation in the koran is for women (and men) to dress modestly and the wearing of make-up is contrary to this.

Some Muslim women I have seen, wear the hijab and wear make-up and they also wear skin-tight jeans and form-hugging tops.

Now this is definitely not in the spirit of the Koranic instruction, is it?

I think that the most important part of the modesty is not to show hair and bare flesh.   Interestingly some Jewish women also cannot show their hair, but they wear wigs to cover their own hair; very strange.

Oh I see what's happened, when something vanishes so do all names in responses so, your responses went to the last ID ( if that makes sense)

It's very confusing, but that's the way it's done now

I know how easy it is to post in haste and make mistakes.

One thing I have learnt from all the anti Islam rubbish about the place recently - I didn't know how many people who aren't Muslim consider themselves experts on the Quran and Islam, who knew?
