I know many Aussie women who not go swimming nude-and they are not Muslim. So what is the point you are trying to make?

Can you offer any proof that the person holding the sign is a woman? Those fingernails look 'manly' to me.

The topic is burqa's not fingernails.Woman Wink

Unlike others boris1gary does not chide people.

From another topic with helpful advice from am*3: "I would rather stick to the topic of this thread...the poor in Australia".

Such agrestic behaviour is not helpful at all and people need to avoid the hypocr.... tag at all costs.

appalling................but I wonder if it really will affect anyone? How many Burqa clad Muslim women have ever entered?

Nobody there can actually recall ever seeing a person in burqa enter Parliament House.

Its not like they dont have a choice, nobody is required to visit parliament house and if you choose to do so your face needs to be visible.

But let's not get complacent. Don't forget all those German paratroopers  that were sneaking around England diguised as nuns in 1940.Smiley Wink

So, what was the point? just another way to vilify Muslim women? make them feel like they are not welcome?

Re: Should the Burqa be banned in Australia

Muslim women are more than welcome, it's the garb they wear that isnt ..... Shame on the Aust government for for "trying" to keep Australia safe!  If you don't like it write to the Aust gov and complain 🙂

Re: Should the Burqa be banned in Australia

You didn't see the post that said no one can recall ever seeing a Burqa clad woman there?

My comment is in relation to exactly that..... why waste the words and make the rules for a non existant situation? How is it keeping Australia safe?
