In Victoria it's generally 4 year olds who go to kinder, though there is also a 3 year old kinder now. I found I was more involved at kinder than I was at school, still good frinds with a few other mums from there
I got less involved as the kids got older. a lot of mum's can't pick up children from school these days due to work duties, but with kinder if a parent couldn't pick them up a designated person would. At school I waited at the gate when they were in their latter years
sorry, what's the point??

Yes there have been males overseas that have worn the burqa to commit crimes. No one has denied that.. This thread was started to address burqa wearing or not in AUSTRALIA..
Males wearing burqa's overseas.?? Or ban the burqa (for women) in Australia?
Was the lady you.were near at the signing in part at daycare wearing a burqa?
You don't believe that it is possible for someone in Australia to cotton on to the idea and take it for a spin themselves?
How do you know that it hasn't happened in Australia?
Maybe it has and they just haven't been caught yet.
I don't know, but there was a time when we didn't have Pizza in Australia and a time when you couldn't get Vegemite in Australia, so I don't think that it is too much of stretch to anticipate that other things which occur overseas may happen here.
Animals and other goods travel overseas
Viruses are quite the international traveller as well.
So in this day of internet technology, is it not possible to consider that an idea may travel oversees?
I hadn't even seen any stories, and I thought of it. And I promise you that I am definitely sitting in Australia. What if I was a baddie?

and we all know this story as its been mentioned numerous times.
Oh my goodness. It happened in Australia
"In Sydney, Australia in June 2010, Carnita Matthews was stopped by the police for a random breath test. She then made serious allegations against the police officer, accusing him of being ‘racist’ and ‘trying to tear off her burqa.’ However the patrol car’s camera captured the whole incident and proved Matthews was lying, an offence for which she received six months imprisonment.
Unfortunately Judge Clive Jeffreys overturned the decision much to the joy of the hardline Muslims that had gathered outside the court because he was “not satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that it was Mrs Matthews who made the racism accusation, because the person who complained to police was wearing a burqa at the time.”

If you were a baddie you might also consider wearing one of those pressure masks that burns victims have to wear - sometimes for years at a time. Maybe we should ban them in public. As far as I know, nobody in Australia has every used one as a disguise ..... yet, but, hey I still managed to think of it.

I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. I thought you were addressing my post about the identity of parents collecting their kids from school.
I do apologize as it appears that I was wrong.
My point was that not all parents collect their children from the classroom door. I have seen where after school a lot of kids were let out into the playground with one teacher on duty supervising everyone. And as a child saw their parent approach they would run across the oval to meet up with them.
I have also sat at many sporting events, including those with other schools or clubs. This means that there are quite a few parents around, and some who you don't know (because they are on the other team) So I wouldn't know if all of the adults hanging around were even parents of the children there. They could be any random stranger, and I would have no idea. I may not know who they were, but if necessary, I could probably have a go at describing them to some degree.

Well, they are banned in some situations.
