I've decided to brave a panacotta today LOL

figured I'd better see what the fuss is about.

Only drama though is I have never had one, so won't know if what I make is how it is supposed to be iykwim?

all I can do is follow the recipe

I figure it's sposed to be like a crememcaramel consistency - holds its own with just a slight bulge round its girth?

maybe I'll just make creme caramels

Little crikey is pretty good at Brulees now, so they will be the next step for her

she has mastered a molten lava cake - her last few batches were superb - so i reckon I can write off fluke and call it nailed LOL

she's too heavy handed for souffles yet though - only tried her on a chocolate one and a potato one - but she hasn't got the gist of gently LOL - it's just "beat the **bleep** out of it" hahahahaha good for whipping cream though LOL

she's still dirty at me cos I make her whisk genoise sponge by hand

till she masters figure 8 ribbons to a 3 ribbon consistency - I'm not letting her near a machine (cos I'm a meanie)

she makes great packet gravy though!

Nah, not for her. She's just learning to cook enough so she doesn't starve when she moves out of home. It's just a bit of fun to throw in a few of the special things from time to time. I figure if she has a basic skill set, she will be able to cook anything she wants to eat.

MC is really interested in Cooking and I reckon he'd be ok, he's got that tradie instinct and work ethic but fortunately he seems to be headed in a different path too,

Hospitality is too hard an industry, there are a lot easier ways to earn a wage, eh?

I think Joy has a strong chance to win HK. I don't see either of the guys winning. Perhaps Rochelle. Melanie is a good cook and confident, but I don't think she's mature enough to run a kitchen on her own. Maybe a few years down the road. As for Kashia, it think it was her time to go. I didn't like how she never owned up to her mistakes or took responsibility for anything and was always throwing everyone else under the bus. How can you be in charge of people if you aren't in charge of yourself? Just my 2 cents.

i was rather surprised they didn't turn one of HIS out and try it,even though he was going home.

I know....I was hoping they would. I would have liked to have known  how it turned out. I'm leaning towards Tyler having made a mistake also.
