Sineater - psst...in here

I just watched Materchef  US Season 5 Episode 1

(Thought I better start a new thread and not hijack the Australian one)

Plus we can add Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares to this one too.

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

Did you look up the Australian Slang for that word?

Hey, I understand, tcm.

Yes, when some things are revealed, it can feel shameful.  I understand, I'm an Irish Catholic for Pet'e sake.

But I know this, that the best thing to do is just say, hey, mia culpa, I did rake some over the coals for things that I did and they didn't but please forgive me.  You know, people will forgive tcm, they understand.  That's the reason for Christianity.

Re: Sineater - psst...in here

okay. i think the first thing i need to say is...TANA RAMSAY,YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS!!!!! what a beauty! and you can see how much they love each other, that is so awesome!

ladies( and gentlemen!),i think we're stuck with a crush from afar,with gordon,lol!

and i LOVED the couple who were celebrating their 65th,they were so much like my inlaws,it literally made me cry. and laugh, too, mom and dad NEVER agreed on restaurant food, lol! but they ALWAYS  shared....

and the proposal, that was so sweet!  it made me smile! 🙂

now,as to the food. frankly,i was shocked that the filets won. BUT,they did have a nicer dessert,i think.

and i think the biggest problem was the the risotto,it wasn't appealing, and tana said she couldn't taste the lobster in it. on the other side, she loved the potato/beet puree, and WAS able to eat the outside of the filet.

and may i be the FIRST  to say,WAY TO GO,CUTTER!! i was astounded at his truffles!! and gordon, that was MEAN!! funny, but mean! the poor boy could have had a heart attack, lol! but they were beautiful, and the texture i could see on the interiors was PERFECT.

cutter,be proud, you EARNED that win! now, let's see that continue,so i can like you again, like i did at the start of the show.

leslie...how could CUTTER beat you on this, when you buy your truffles in beverly hills, you say? thank your higher powers that you used the right amount of sugar,at least. but they were just buttugly, dude!!

christine, well,i'm heartbroken, because i was really liking her. but bitter chocolate in truffles? no way. but you be proud, christine, because you're a GREAT cook! and you WILL go far!!!!

all in all,an EXCELLENT episode!

please join me in the discussion,or read here next week for the latest! 🙂

Nope, never have. It never even crossed my mind to put a beet on a burger.

Your people must have been hard up for veggies at the time someone suggested that.

Maybe during a famine or something, way back in the dark ages? :smileytongue:

dunno how it came about

i wouldnt go believing everything you hear though

maybe it was because of a willingness to experiment and try something different LOL

I was just kidding Joz.. Ebay-mischievious.gif
