...and this blonde chick sitting next to me is brushing her hair while she is talking on the phone. She's just done her makeup. And now she starts brushing vigorously. In my direction. From the looks of it she's just had it cut cause there are bits going everywhere.
I'm all in black.
So I give her a dirty look and make a big deal of brushing her bits off me and move as far away from the her in the seat as possible.
Instead of stopping she tells her friend loudly what is going on and then has a conversation where she continuously calls me the "...beech sitting next to me on the train".
Umm hello? The train is not your personal bathroom.

or the idiots playing phone games so all I hear are the second hand goal scoring.
I don't get that, you don't need the music/sound effects for the game, switch it to silent or turn off the sound effects, its not hard, I do it even if Im at home. I have a problem with repetitive sounds.

I didn't think much of this incident, I just thought it's just typical Sydney siders. Self absorbed and aloof.
Ya think?
Like Melbournites are so well behaved on public transport...

When I was very pregnant and on my way to work on a very crowded bus there was a pervert standing next to a very young teenage girl and rubbing himself up against her, she didn't quite know what to do, when we arrived at Bondi Junction I rolled my newspaper up and beat him over the head with it calling him a dirty old man.
What amazed me was that it was a spectacle and others could see what he was doing but stayed quiet, I did get a few cheers from those that were pleased that I did it.
I have seen him do this type of thing again in a shopping mall and reported him, he walked past my home once and I hosed him while I was watering the garden.

My line is on the same platform as the Bondi train and I reckon the scariest ones get on this line. 😐
The only time I ever worry about my safety on a train is when I catch a late one home and look across at those waiting for a Bondi train. There are an awful lot of bogans going your way Donna.
