Trainer failed me cause he reckons i didnt stop at a stop sign interection for 3 seconds, when i did...

I heard, and have seen from my kids and my friends kids, that it often take 3 goes to pass.

You have to drive 100% perfectly for those 45 mins or so

Have you had some lessons with a professional driving instructor? They usually can tell whether someone is ready enough to sit their P test?

WHere does it say 3 seconds?? You need to stop such that the car comes to a complete stop that you feel the momentum of your body come back. 

At long as you don't speed and stop at a stop sign, it's generally pretty hard to fail.
