So is it time

that we all stopped commenting or passing judgement on posts or threads that we don't like?

eBay is a large and diverse community, There are always going to be some that like some things and some that don't.

So, as long as the post/thread is within eBay's guidleines, is it time to just let people post what and how they want?

Perhaps if you do find something offensive, how about PM'ing the person involved to politely explain your position instead of doing it in a manner that may cause humiliation.

*Disclaimer, the above option did not work very well for me, so in no way can I advise that this is the best option, but just a suggestion. LOL.

hawk opinions are one thing  and its great for everyone to form their own and maybe post them but "thrust-down-your-throat-internet-quotes" are quite another.

You have indeed been as you say 'extremely strong' in the way you have expressed things on the TD's

IMO EVERYONE has the right to post a thread or make a comment on any thread within ebay guidelines

BUT they dont have the right to push their opinions and post endless C&Ps to bully people into accepting their view is the only one that's correct.

And it's ok to go on the attack with snide remarks, stalk and harass a poster YOU / OTHERS believe is in the wrong and doesn't fit the group criteria? As has  been shown over the past couple of months.

Or should we all be able to walk away, ignore (and there is that button for doing just that) and show how that it done when someone in particular annoys us?

i fail to see the difference, opinions are generally formed from either a tidbit of information or a lot. one method of expression is as valid as another .. its just a matter of reading the longer ones or not.. which is of course a choice open to all.

no its not, until its accompanied by a barrage of C&Ps

The concept of C&P being seen as bullying is quite odd imo though I suppose if 1 chose to see it as that they may well chose to feel validated for how they themselves react to that ?
