I'll tell you what I don't get icy. I don't get why for the past 1 -2 years it has acceptable, apparently, to fling every insult known at the then prime minister and government. To publish ludicrous cartoons and quote almost slanderous articles endlessly. To recycle hideous biased "news" stories, to suggest dropping people out to sea in chaff bags, and all the rest of the rubbish that has been going on. But suddenly, now that the government has changed, we have to just shut up and cop it?
Can you give me valid reason for that?

What part of that do you not understand, Polks?
Where did I say that I do not understand that the government has changed?
What I did suggest was that in your post you distorted the election results.

I'm not condoning bad behaviour TS .As far as political outbursts... the opening post is one ...it's also member targeted and discriminatory .Everyone in Australia doesn't automatically stop discussing politics because the Libs are in .

If you are thinking of old chinwag, I remember there were times it would have been a relief to be bagging the pollies to get the heat off the forum members! Gosh that was a wild place about 10 years ago.

just one point. Majority doesn't rule under our system necessarily. Kim beazley won the majority of the vote 52% but not the election.
