That is the job of the senate to moderate the ambitions of the lower house & so hopefully the end result is a balanced outcome for the country.

incase you hadn't notice we have been surrounded by negativity for the past few years ....it tends to creates fear and hatred and makes people more likely to believe in big promises ,especially when they are repeated often enough .
and now some want to suggest Politics is no longer a topic for general discussion and/or only positive comments should be made ? Shouldn't everyone be permitted to comment ?
