Episode 7 of the Star Wars saga opens in Australia on December 17th.
But why wait that long?
Here's a Star Wars thread, and it doesn't have to be just about the new movie.

Oddly enough...I don't. I still haven't seen the last "new" one as the first two were so unutterably dire. I was in the first theatre showing of The Phantom Menace...so that's a fan for you. Not going to bother with the latest "new new" ones, even with original cast members.

You'll have to tie me to the couch when it's finally put on TV
Care factor - zero

I'll wait until after the release, then watch clips on YouTube. That way I get to work out who the characters are, and then the toys in the catalogues will make sense to me.
Beyond that? If I see it, then I see it. If I don't, then I'm leaving a seat free for someone who will truly enjoy the experience of seeing the movie. Gosh, I'm so big hearted.

Do you reckon Luke might be the new Sith, following in Dad's steps?

It's an interesting thought.
I was wondering if it might skip a generation, and Luke's son might be the Sith - there could be a sort of 'coming out' scene -
"Dad, I'm a Sith".
"It's okay, son, your mother and I are here for you. We support your life choices".
I don't know how the cinema-going public would take to that, though.

This "Your Star Wars Name" thing is a lot like those "3D puzzles" that used to be so fashionable (the ones I could look at for days, and still not see the herd of zebra, or the Taj Mahal, or whatever was "hidden" there).
It, like them, works for most people.
My Star Wars name looks like a password with a "high" security rating - a garbled jumble of letters.
