Deb, the hold ups or stay ups with the heavy top are still sold. They might or might not stay up!
Sorry, it was just one of my throw-away lines. I wasn't referring to work clothes.
With regards to going out on a date, ladies wear pantihose, pursed lips, clothes buttoned up to the neck, and think of England.
Real women wear stockings, free, comfortable clothing, are not afraid of their sensuality or sexuality.
Pantihose are labelled by men as passion killers, and for good reason.

I see ๐
My work clothes are pjs most of the time. But when I go out I do wear dresses and stockings and all the pretty things. Not makeup.
passion killers? Hmmmmm. I wear stuff for me though. If it's not comfy I'm not wearing it. Makeup I find uncomfortable.

Well I didn't think this thread would get this far, shall we talk about leggings now? they don't leave much to the imagination, if a short top is worn
