We all wonder at suicide at times, I think.
Maybe just the more sensitive of us, I guess.
I've often wondered at the best method, without making it too gory.
I wouldn't want to leave a horrible corpse of myself for my family to deal with.
Like a blowdryer or slashed wrists in the bathtub. I don't have a bathtub anyway, so that rules that out.
God forbid laying myself over railway tracks or driving myself into and oncoming truck. Too much trauma for the other parties involved.
I wouldn't mind getting drunk and connecting the hose to the exhaust pipe of the car. But then some well-meaning person would probably find you before the job was done. Bloody hell, you'd wake up in hospital with do-gooders all over you.
Get drunk and jump overboard on a ship while it's in open waters? But then you'd cause a whole lot of problems with the ship having to stop and inconvenience passengers on a timetable.
An overdose of drugs? You'd have to have connections to the market. But would be nice to just go to sleep with sweet dreams and bye bye.
Hmmm...a while to go yet...

Have you ever been in a mind space where you wanted to kill yourself, Icy, or is your post just an academic exercise?

Yes, I have, She-el, and thanks for asking.
But when it comes down to it, I'm a survivor,

I could do it very easily ATM with drugs being on Targin for the Idiopathic Brachial Neuritis.
The Doctor only prescribes twenty eight days worth but if you crush them then they'd be instantly absorbed into the bloodstream
