So Peter Slipper goes to court for a cab fare to a winery but Abbott and his mob can pay back airfares to weddings.........
"PRIME Minister Tony Abbott charged taxpayers for his travel costs when he attended the wedding of a Liberal MP in Victoria.
Mr Abbott's office said he had repaid $1094 for a 2006 trip to Wangaratta for the wedding of recently defeated Liberal frontbencher Sophie Mirabella, after questions from the Sunday Herald Sun."

Gee havent you worked it out yet,
The higher you are the more corrupt you can be and get away with it.
Like if you are at the very top of the food chain who is going to stick their neck out to have a go.

Tony Abbott has always been in that 'higher up' place .

Timing is everything as they say ...this is coming out in MSM 'after' our Federal Election which saw 'an unelectable' elected as our Country's Prime Minister.
He should have stood in a Court room to answer to these things first .

I don't recall Chrissy Pyne calling for him to stand down while these claims are investigated.

i see Mr Abbott has agreed to pay back the money claimed for S Misrabellas's wedding. how many of these little oversights is that now ? and what of senator sinodinis, overlooked for ministry (for some reason other than 'balance' obviously) despite all the acclaim he received from the PM and his acolytes.
seems senator sinodinis is the other half of the obeid team. tainted as it makes him , yet they let him stay.

Worth reposting his previous false claim:
It is the second time Mr Abbott has repaid travel entitlements he had claimed from taxpayers.
In 2010 he repaid $9,400 he had claimed for a 2009 book-tour to promote his book Battlelines.

What a pity some of these weddings they all seem to be dashing off to aren't same sex ones.
