Abbott's Facebook fan page has had over 100,000 new likes in less then 2 weeks. Here's how it's done:

That is in fact untrue... if you look at the detail of that offer they do not give interactions... so if you look at the number of people discussing Tony Abbott it is 71,645.... that in fact correlates to the number of people talking about him and also the new likes to his page... 

There is an election... people are becoming interested in what is going on... 

Krudd in fact has 98,449 likes yet only 42,563 are talking about him... that therefore shows that more people are only liking his page yet not talking about him. So who might be either buying votes or just not connecting with the public. 

I like how you got that info from the well known paid labor staffer posting on Tony Abbott's page... regulars to Tony's page and Krudds page know full well who that man is. 

I can tell you that I know for a fact that those likes are real... people are spreading the word and asking friends to get involved and make sure that if they want a change in Government they support Tony Abbott and the Coalition.

Does he write his own posts on facebook? On twitter he doesn't ... a staffer does them or they're automated and he's not even honest enough to declare it.

Of course he doesn't.  He is not interested in the youth vote, he is doing this only because Rudd has captured that market to a large degree.

Many candidates will not be writing all of their own posts right now. They are so incredibly busy that their media people will be helping write them... that also includes kevin Rudd... I have read posts from his page in the third person.... and not his typical style... 

They do write some of their posts but not all. 

And the truth is that Tony really needed a bit of help in getting the finer details of social media... he is doing so much better... 

On the topic of Tony getting all these new likes, facts are that Kevin had lots from the last election that he ran and lots that he gained over his time of infighting Gillard.. people wanted to watch what he was doing... Tony never needed to use social media to gain anything over the last three years and the last election he didn't use it very well. 

But this year everyone is so much more into social media and he has taken it on board.. With the dinner that I attended this was a topic discussed, a few of us talked about the need to make his page more active... Peta Credlin said they were making it more of a useful tool and we promised that we would help via our methods of promotion... no buying of likes needed.

Hasn't he held large dinners some raising a million ...with some tickets costing $50 000 each.

It is correct the other side seems to hold smaller functions with cheaper tickets ?

who is holding the large dinners for $50K per seat??? 

I am yet to hear of those... can you please tell me who had a dinner like that? 

having attended one of these dinners I know the going price.. and I also know that most of these dinners fundraise for the local member.
