To all of those in QLD facing floods again good luck. 

140mm in my back yard last night. Roads flooded already and no let up on the near horizon. 

Take care, have your emergency plans ready to enact. 

They are opening up the dam gates down Brisbane way in preparation....

I am on the Sunny Coast and it is picking up big time here. A day for reading a good book or lurking on the boards and hoping the windows are as strong as the builder said!

Thanks Az , it's really just the 1 family member of mine though I have several close friends in various areas of QLD.Have been trying to reach a friend who lives on Magnetic Island.I'm sure they will do all that they should to keep safe.

far out... so much rain... 

For those trying to call people in the Rocky region the fiber-optic cable is broken.... Telstra is trying to restore the service but not going too well I hear.  

Power outages in Rocky as well.

Mobile phone reception is also getting sketchy for some people up this way....

Gladstone area has been hard hit... the ex cyclone sat still over them all night. it is slowly moving down south and Bundaberg is expecting 400mm in the next 24 hours with 100km gusts of wind....

I am soooo glad I am not working tomorrow.

LAst few weeks saw so many fighting so save their properties from bushfires and this week there are floods.

Yes and still fighting those fires...could do with some rain down here. My daughter is very close to one of the fires today but it's controlled at present.

Still only feeling the leading edge of the Ex cyclone. Been keeping an eye on BOM and jeez, how slow is this thing moving. There in lies the problem, the slower it moves the more drenching the rain. The gusts are rattling some windows.

Looks like tonight and tomorrow will be worrying on the Sunshine Coast.

seems reasonably calm here in Glass House..No rain (at the moment!) and a light breeze...not to say it wont get heavier and windier....VERY.. humid at the moment
