Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Sandy, I think you could also add just a dessertspoon of plain flour to the mixture as well .. along with the egg, that really binds it together.
Can I have your recipe for the curried sausages please? Sounds absolutely delicious.

8 sausages
250mls beef stock
1 tablesp tomato paste
1 tablep worcesterhire
2 tablesp curry powder (less if keens)
1 tblesp brown sugar
1 Chopped onion
1-2 tablesp Olive Oil
salt & pepper to taste
small tub of sour cream
Brown onions & sausages in oil in a large saucepan & chop sausages into small pieces. (I boil mine and cut them into bite size).
Mix everything else together except sour cream and add to saucepan. Season to taste.
Cook for 10 mins and add sour cream.
This is the recipe but I add extra water with gravy mix and plain flour for thickening and cook celery, carrot and new potatoes cut in half then add to the rest.

I made that special cheesecake on Wednesday, but it collapsed somewhat into itself and I'm not sure why ...

Good morning all xx Just passing through as I hurtle out the door and get some work done so I can't stay.
With the cheesecake, I suspect either the oven was hotter than it should have been or not warm enough, I'll never know. It would have impressed any sinkhole though!...
Back tonight.

What was the consistency of it like. Soft, hard.
Another question. What did it taste like, if it was gritty that usually means that it has over cooked.
Either too long cooking time or the temp too hot. I don't rely too much on the over temp dial, (our oven does not have a digital display)
I use a oven thermometer. Example: on the dial if it is at 140, the temp gauge shows 150. Yet when set a 180, the temp gauge shows 180. seems the lower I go on the oven dial the more inaccurate the temp is.
