The Bachelor - I Just Knew It!

While I was visiting in Mackay, my DD and GDD made me watch the Bachelor. No options. I watched the last 3 episodes but missed out on last night's finals, still travelling.

I had a bet on that he'd pick Sam, judging by the body language and long searching looks at each other.

This morning I read in the News he'd proposed to...

I watched the final show last night, only because there was nothing else on worth watching, I thought she wasn't really in to him, she appeared to be faking it for the camera's.

Pretty sure the show paid for it as well as all the dates, as if the guy thought of it or paid for any of it.

It did make me laugh when the girls used to say how amazing he was for coming up with their perfect date.  I reckon that the diamond necklace that Sam wore since it was given to her was a bit cheap and dated looking so the ring should make up for that.

Did Lisa's dad work for channel 10 at some stage?  Odd that they tried to promote that beautiful waterfront home as he and his wife's family home when it was rented.  This does not bode well for next years Bachelor.

I'm always bemused by the programmes our DDs watch too! Haven't seen The Bachelor, but like everyone else, got caught up in the story following in the newspapers as well, and that was enough. Its such a beat up, but quite cleverly done...we're all talking about it!

I recently started to watch XFactor while babysitting. Now I'm hooked! and how long does it take to get a winner?

Weeks? Months? Light Years??

Anyway I hope Dean wins. Not sure whether he could handle the fame though.

Had a great stay. The night sky was amazing, so many stars! You just don't see a night sky like that, living in the city.

The girls didn't watch XFactor thank goodness!

The show was all about getting your face on the Telly for a few weeks, for the girls as well as the guy.

He's a creepy guy no doubt but it was good entertainment.  My favourite girl Chantal had a run in with him with his behaviour and she was gone.

Most of the girls were beautiful and had lots of personality and would have no problem finding a partner.  I doubt anyone would trust Blake for a while unless they had mummy and aunties approval.
