The Disappointed Departed

We are witness to  excoriating disappointment every day from the left. The ABC just cannot run a positive slant on the Government no matter how many successes they have.

They are the government who have to clean up the disastrous mess Labor left behind, they are the government that has to do this every time Labor leave power, no wonder they are not the preferred party of Australians.

The Greens are now moving towards having a larger mandate than Labor, that is their plan and Labor are looking like the fringe dwellers the Greens once were.

After the catastrophe of the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd disaster and the mountain of debt, the entrenched regulation and the legislated entities that are sucking the life  out of the economy we are now seeing the crocodile tears for the Illegal immigrants.

That's the thing, they are illegal immigrants and illegal immigrants we don't want here at any cost. They targeted Australia knowing that it is a 1st world country and they can live like they never imagined anywhere else.

After 5 years 85% of the illegal immigrants still do not work, they are not productive, never will be,  and Labor let them in. Labor are not even talking about the illegal immigrants now they are hiving that out to their mates and 3rd parties  to do the dirty work for them.

The lies we were told by Labor when they lost control was mind numbing and offensive, this is all the left on here have to hang onto, they bleat every day "Oh the poor refugees" well guess what?? they are not refugees they are illegal immigrants in cahoots with criminals to exploit Australia.

We can't afford this mind set that we are witness to on here every day, the disappointed and  sore losers, the poor benighted  that just cannot come to grips with loss.

Move on left, Australia is under new management, and like it or not, and no matter how many scrollers posted to assuage  disappointment,  try to be a productive members of society.

The doom and gloom hunted out and posted on here is ludicrous and twisted logic that makes no sense and is propaganda designed to spread an agenda that has no support from the broader Australia, in fact they are delighted with the government.

The Catholic Church have expressed concern after a Sri Lankan asylum seeker attempted to take his own life when his visa was denied by the Australia immigration department.

Janarthanan, who was in his late 20s, had reportedly set himself alight after his application for a permanent protection visa was rejected. He left a suicide note stating he would rather die in Australia than die in Sri Lanka.

"It is tragic news that a young Sri Lankan asylum seeker be so overwhelmed by grief and hopelessness that he would douse himself in petrol and set himself a light," the Australian Catholic Migrant and Refugee Office (ACMRO) said in a statement.

"Sadly what is missing from Australia's treatment of asylum seekers is the recognition that asylum seekers are human beings, they feel pain, rejection, hopelessness and understandably in these types of situations people often fall into despair and consider taking their own life."

The young Tamil had been living in Australia for the past 18 months on a bridging visa as a cleaner in Balmain, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, while his application was under consideration.

He remains in a critical condition in Sydney's Concord Hospital suffering burns to the majority of his body.

The ACMRO urged the Australian government to consider other visa options before returning Tamils to Sri Lanka.

Widespread persecution of Tamils living in Sri Lankan remains a reality despite the official end to the horrific civil war, which saw over 40,000 Tamils brutally killed.

Church slams 'cold blooded' treatment of asylum seeker children

"We're simply wanting to offer the Australian government an alternative to knowingly harming these children and this kind of cold blooded willingness to put children in harms way.

"We watch with real concern, in fact, and alarm as the policies around asylum seekers have hardened over the last couple of governments," he said.

On Monday the Uniting Church approached the government to offer the children a home within its network, said Professor Dutney, from Adelaide.

This is not the first time churches have openly spoken against asylum seekers policies.

At the PNG Catholic Bishops Conference this week, a consortium of bishops condemned Australia's asylum seeker policy.

"We were concerned that the rhetoric of a righteous campaign against people smugglers actually seemed to be more a question of political convenience," the Church assembly said.

Last month the biggest church denominations in Australia have warned Immigration Minister Scott Morrison against amending a core migration act that could give him unparalleled power to "play God" and deport asylum seekers.

Those Tamils can't escape their persecutors anymore. We gave the Sri Lankans a boat to round 'em up and take them back. What sort of treatment would they get when they're returned? I bet it's not a backrub and a hot cup of Milo.

I'm surprised we didn't see all this concern about children when Labor opened the floodgates and over 1000 children were in detention. Not a word, not a murmer.

This is typical behaviour from the disappointed, they use children all the time, on picket lines, political footballs for education and health, stunt puppets for elections and the never to be forgotten "little Tommy" and "Sarah Letter" Rudd exploited in his overseas dementia to control the worlds climate.

So bleat all you want, its hypocritical and offensive to use kids in any shape or form.

More bleating...................

http://www.unitingjustice.org.au/refugees-and-asylum-seekers/news/item/945-uniting-church-offers-san...

The Uniting Church in Australia has written to the Australian Government to offer sanctuary for all children without parents currently held on Christmas Island.

The Church's offer was prompted by information that children without parents being detained on Christmas Island have been scheduled for imminent deportation to offshore facilities on Nauru.

"We are well placed to offer these vulnerable young asylum seekers a place of sanctuary where we can ensure their wellbeing," said Rev. Prof. Andrew Dutney.

"Since the 1980s our Church has been directly involved in the protection and care of child asylum seekers without parents," said Rev. Prof. Dutney.

"Our extensive networks stand ready to take these young people into our custody where they will be given the support and care that they need and deserve."

National Director of UnitingJustice Australia Rev. Elenie Poulos explained that Nauru is entirely unsuitable for all asylum seekers, especially children without parents.

"In October last year, the UNHCR visited the detention centre on Nauru and recommended its immediate closure. They explicitly highlighted the inadequacy of the facilities for all children – especially those without parents.

"The recent tragedy on Manus Island has highlighted the complete inadequacy of these offshore centres for the safety and wellbeing of those seeking asylum," said Rev. Poulos.

"The Uniting Church will not stand by and watch as the lives of children are decimated by brutal government policies."
