The class wars & sexist wars Labor waged to take the spotlight off their failings have now reaped what they sowed. A country riven by division & hate all at the hand of Mr Rudd & Miss Gillard & her supporters.
From the very first minute the new Abbott government was elected the disappointed started with their T Shirts emblazoned with hate speech & filth.
The new government received no honeymoon from the media unlike the nearly 2 years of Rudd dysfunction then the total failure of Miss Gillard. All they concentrated on was Abbott's unpopularity which in the end, brought Labor down because in their conceit they never saw the train coming.
Labor has abrogated any responsibility for their loss, they have conducted no introspection as to why they failed so comprehensively & now we are witness to Mr Shorten clinging onto the very failed policies that saw them routed.
What a sorry mess.

I bet Rudd didn't profer any of his former Labor party comrades for a character reference

"Trying to argue with a closed mind is like talking to a brick wall,"
Sorry POD, but any brick walls round here will probably have been punched out by the bogeyman Abbott according to our disappointed history loving member et al. That aside it is reassuring to see the PPTSD symptoms and vocal unhappiness/disappointment/ denigration continue, because it is indicative of an acceptance, albeit subconscious, that the Coalition are who a majority of the electorate wished to govern. In fact the many "unhappy" posts from the Myopes can be headed under:
The psychology of disappointment
The psychological reaction to an outcome that does not match up to expectations, the greater the disparity the greater the disappointment. (and unhappy posts)
Disappointment can lead to anger, which allows one to continue idealising what could have been while consciously (constantly) denigrating it, and people will continue to do so because its what they need at the time.
Whilst the above certainly rings true, I also judge denial/disappointment by the frequency of unresearched comments and incorrect definitive comments, or simply: codswallop.

Does this theory also explain the virulent and personal abuse hurled at Julia Gillard after Labor won the previous election?

actually ele, i would have thought that the first sentence would be accurate for those that had high expectations for the Abbott disaster that is our government. I didn't, they are matching my expectations perfectly.

The disappointed is how I have been describing the relentless angst and anger shown by the labor supporters on here. It started the very night Labor lost and has continued ever since.
The march in march of the disappointed is another manifestation of the mindless rage they have to find an outlet for. One only has to look on the facebook page of a well known Abbott basher on here to be horrified by the mindless hate spread on it.
Its a truism what they say:
Labor hates Conservatives whilst Conservatives think Labor is just mad.

I have never looked at Facebook and don't intend to, from your last post maybe you headed the topic incorrectly - The Hate Labor left behind? According to your truism the topic heading makes no sense. Maybe it should have been - The Hate The Conservatives took with them.

I have been a Labor supporter since the day I signed up to vote and you bet ya I am an angry labor supporter why wouldn't I be after having your life and country stuffed up every time the Libs get into government. It's you libs that can't make up your minds one minute you vote your government in and next election you vote them out because the promises have gone onto deaf ears, why can't you just stick with what's best and that's Labor, why put us all through all the pain and misery for another 4 years.
Now that you know what to do next time,do it for the sake of our nation!

I presume all the keyboard warriors on here will be joining the march of the disappointed to vent their rage that their party lost and they are having a bit of a struggle trying to understand why?
And after that pointless exercise they can then join all the online hate groups and commisserate and spread more frustration that labor lost?
Good luck.

I think you'll find that windrake was talking about Kevin and as for your previous post disputing the labour robbing of unused bank accounts, I think you should once again check your facts before mouthing off.
