lazy morning here too.. morning all..
happy anniversary for the weekend Linda..

while I was at work y'day, dear Vic organized a man to come and fix my poor old oven today.
1. door doesnt quite close, just a tiny bit open, but been that way for months now...!!

2. now the fan for the FanForced dont work

I had a bit of a melt down on Sat.night about the whole thiing, and the house , and everything..........grrrr I hate getting upset cause it isn't Vics fault he cant do things around the place, but we really need lots of work doing or need to move...and he cant face either:-(

so hopefully by tonight I'll have a fully working stove again and can stop cooking on the cooktop / slowcooker and electric frying pan (my 3 sturdy workmates!!).

but just in case I'll make something in the frypan tonight

hope the sun comes out soon, its 9.30 I need to do a load of washing

Lets make a pact!Need to get up and get moving by 9:45..I dont know about you,but it helps me to break down the tasks into smaller bits and have a couple of treats along the way!Also,I love to eat!I focus on that-it can help me when Im not looking forward to cooking..

Lets see,you need to get the recipe books out and check out your ingredients,maybe make a shopping list,and get ready to go to the supermarket/butcher/greengrocer.Mmm might stop for a treat and have a coffee-or a nice cup of tea...
back home,unpack and start preparing to cook up a storm for tonight!Yum...

Wanders off still procrastinating muttering gotta have shower and get down to my work..I know,have a shower and then do a couple of hours and then have a coffee and a walk.check progress and then might know when I am and how much more I need to do?:|
OK,here goes..feel a bit better with a plan:-)

Nothing much going on here...going to do some banking in Caboolture...didn't go yesterday....daughter is driving us.... then going to lunch at the rsl and tickling the pokies a bit.

Hi Illicit......We live at Glass House, just off the Highway. It's just that we have every other bank branches within a 10 min drive except for NAB.!

my house is falling down around me, my oven broke so I bought one of those small oveny things pretty much the whole house needs renovating but the man has a serious back injury which is looking permanent. So nothing gets done. He won't let me get someone in to do stuff (manhood thing I guess) so I do understand the meltdowns

Day off for me today, if I can get rid of this headache I might go shopping:-D

Lyndel I do understand where you are coming from. Hubby and I know we shall have to move soon. I cannot get any help with him. ACAT knocked us back because he is not old enough, and his disability pension is for his back, not his liver. The council won't even give us cheap lawn mowing because we are not old, desperate enough. So, we shall be doing this on our own, so much for social services, what a joke.

We have been looking at some units in the paper, next step is going to a couple of open houses, see what we can afford.

Lyndel keep nagging at Vic, see if you can get him to look at something else, you never know what will happen.
