Got some news,some gossip,some anything????...here`s the place to put it so everyone can see!!

We are all close to each other and PCT will be here early January with thier camper on their way through again.

We caught up with PCT and her OH, called in and had a barbie with us up at our shack when they were coming back from the west.

Erica I didnt have a problem with the popup camper trailer, It was very old and I went replaced all the running gear.

The car didnt really notice it even on the big hills and the mountains up in the snowies, the fuel was no issue, we averaged 12L/100 and dint hold back cruising at 110, the fuel is surprisingly better at higher speeds

Hi, Hawk.
My reply was actually aimed at primaryaim, to let her know one can still travel and see lots of places without a caravan or big cost for accomodation.

Peter has been a professional driver all his life and is not worried by pulling a caravan. I don't drive, so we can not take turns, and I think at our age we should take it easy whenever we can. 😉

No worries Erica, you make a good point, a good friend of mine and her partner spent 2 weeks in Tassie recently and they travel on Motor bikes, They go away quite regularly and stay in cabins or motels
