wow what a difference a better nights sleep can make:-D Got stuck into the housework first thing this morning, only the floors to do now and so easy when the others are not home:-p The girls will be here again on Sunday until school resumes so no time for cleaning then lol We have decided that the movies is not a go this time at $45 for 2 kiddies and 1 concession!

Kindles are great! We put in together and bought my oldest daughter one 13 months ago...she loves it especially on the train and in bed.She has a hot pink cover for it now;\...yep she's still a pink girl at nearly 32

Twinkles, get a couple of good videos for the night, buy some popcorn and softdrinks. When you and the girls have Movie Night, make everyone sit down comfortable and turn the lights out while watching the movies.

In between movies you can have Interval for going to the loo, refilling the popcorn and drinks and having a natter about the movie you have just seen.

There is a whole night of about four hours of cheap enetertainment.

Hi Erica:-x...you must have been reading my mind lol We were just talking of doing that but it will be an afternoon rather than an evening session with the DVD's as the girls will be in bed by 7.30. They can help make popcorn and maybe some jelly and ice cream.

After a stressful evening I'm off to bed. Master 10 months had a temp when I collected him from day care for his mum, then a large red lump appeared on his thigh but we think it may have been unrelated and possibly a earwig bite as I have found several lately. All's good now and his temp is normal and he's sound asleep.

Some of you may remember i have a friend Janelle with cervical cancer....she's just 34 😞 Things are not looking good tonight so if you would keep her in your thoughts that would be great. Her mum and I have known each other since Janelle and my son started kinder. She is featured in the new Priceline Sisterhood ad with her hubby. Beautiful stunning young woman.

That's sad twinkles.  I have a friend with the same cancer in her last days but not as young as your friend.

Movies idea is good.  Must remember that when we have our grandson.

A free day today for a change.  After a quick whip around, I am going to investigate my kindle more.  Haven't had much time until now.

Sounds like good times Icy.  You will miss them.

Can't remember anything else - as I'm getting older, the memories not so good.

Good morning all Noseys 🙂

Had a good sleep in this morning and after seeing OH off to work went back to bed to read my new Stephen King. There's something deliciously decadent about not having to be anywhere or do anything in particular. Back to work on Monday.

Now for the melancholy task of stripping the spare bed and washing the sheets, the towels and straightening up the flat. Shopping for dinner for two tonight.

Sorry to hear about your friends daughter, twinkles. I'll never complain about only seeing mine a cpl times a year.

Hope your mum is so far so good ok Nicbuddy.

It's not quite evening so I will say good afternoon and hope everyone is having a good day.

Budget went out the window....the iron packed it in this morningX-( That T store had forgotten to take down a discounted tag on a $139 iron so got it for the sale price of $79 😄 and #2 daughter chipped in as well. So best I go finish the ironing now.

Nics....we still on for tomorrow? :-x

Hi Everybuddy 🙂

Up early this morning trying to maximise my day.

Bought some fish for dinner at the fresh food people but it was blerk and we couldn't eat it. Usually I get my fish, Pacific Dory on Fridays from the fish shop near work, but as I'm not at work this week I had to get something else. It was Flake (Shark), but looked quite good.

Anyway, now I have to get rid of it. I hate putting fish in the bin, it stinks the bin room out.

I'm going to return it to the sea (throw it in the harbour) in the morning tomorrow. The gulls and other sea creatures can eat it.
