Just an update on your fellow countrymen, now living in the UK.
Dame Edna Everage (Housewife and Mega Star), has has finally hung up her coronet and retired, together with her friend and confidant, Sir Les Patterson (Australia's Ambassador to the United Nations), Kylie Minogue is 'resting' after her extremely tiring and gruelling stint on 'The Voice', Jason Donovan is at present touring in the stage musical 'Annie Get Your Gun', and poor old Rolf Harris is appearing at Southwark Crown Court in, 'The Great Child Sex Abuse Scandal'.
Oh and 'Neighbours' was relegated to channel 5, from BBC 1. Sad innit ?
END OF UPDATE.

There used to be a Country Party.
Pollies used to say "I'm a Country Member"
to which we replied "Yes, we remember"
Sorry, that was political.
I humbly beg forgiveness

And Les was also Australian Cheese Ambassasor. If we do become a republic,I hope he's made our first president.I can think of no other man who epitomises the typical Aussie more than Sir Les.
