Morning all

Thanks for the well wishes yesterday....Mugssy I spat my cuppa when I read what you wrote :^O

Unfortunately Chloe didn't take off, the vet pulled and poked and prodded and Chloe gave nothing away, not a sound..

The vet gave her an anti-inflammatory needle and I have two more doses to give her today and tomorrow. If she's not 75% better after the weekend we have to take her back for x-rays.

She's still limping this morning but is getting around a little.

Skipper got his needle and then a heartworm needle...all was ok.

Less than two hours later, when we were home, he started swelling in the eyes and face....
I rang the vet and said I had phenergan tablets, could I give him one as I couldn't get back to the vets immediately, she said yes as that's what they'd give him as well as a cortisone in]ection..
Gave him that and this morning he was back to normal.
Can't really see in the photo, this is what he looked like but worse...

Was also a bit worried posting about the dogs in-case the thread about the Hounds ailment was for me...? But I don't think so, so meh...

Oh and as for the DNA.... bummer, they don't do it but she said she can almost guarantee he is a camp dog...lol..(clever Mugssy)

]ack Russell mixed with a complete variety of breeds but she also said he will probably only grow about half as big as he is again.

Tende .... I'm so sorry I missed your other posts ( I never read back). I hope your fur babies are up and being norti again soon.
My little Archie is going to look like our cat because he has lost 90% of his coat. He is a scottie and right now is looks shocking. It's been happening for the last 5 months or so and the vet can't tell us why.

That's awful for poor Archie Croc, it seems to be worse when they can't find a reason why.

Well, looks like we are going to be in for some bad weather tomorrow and maybe Sunday.
Hopefully the cyclone will continue on the same track and we will only get the outside of the weather.
Going to be pretty rough and windy though.:-(

Tende! How awful poor little Skipper! My B/C girl Rosie was allergic to bees and reacted the same way, I had to keep antihistamine in the house at all times because she thought bee's were lollies. I know people keep seeing corgi but Im 99% certain its Jack Russel x Northern Territory Cattle Dog(dingo) x a whole lot of other things, I have quite a bit of experience with them and maybe you don't want to see his DNA you might be forced to get a special licence or give him up!:-(

our golden retriever (when she was a pup) became very friendly with a bee and the result was she looked like a sharpei 😮

didnt have a camera to take a piccie .... but poor thing looked so miserable too ..... :^O
