the area manager was supposed to ring me and let me know last week .... but she didnt ..... X-(

I dont mind being cancelled .,....but they need to give me notice so I can get other work .... cos if I dont work I dont get paid .....simple as that !

the manager was livid .... she thought I knew .... she has given me 3 days work in feb ....thats all she has available and she said she will email all the centres near me (the same chain) to let them know Im available !

That sucks Peela, I would think they would have to pay you for minimum engagement for today atleast. 😞

nope I signed in .... then 20mins later signed out .... they will write that off ....as per usual X-(

Whats the minimum engagement under the award, most are 3 hours.

yeah 3hrs .... if they work you 5hrs you need to take a 10min break .... longer than that and you get 1hr unpaid break ....

Peela....that's shocking mismanagement on their part! Poor you 😞 I'd be livid too....I just don't understand how people have the nerve to do it. Once in a while I mess up the roster and have someone working that I don't need....even though they are casual I would never send them home....


Hey everyone.....I had my teeth whitened today!:^O

A fairly unpleasant experience....took nearly 2 hours, but hey, I have such shiney sparkly and noticeably white teeth. I'm really pleased 🙂
