Typical for him though, hockey has started, he has made the regional team, their first training session is Friday. *sigh*

Regionals is where State teams are selected from. *sigh* Last year is was a broken finger.

Waiting for Drs to open, but will probably end up taking him to the hospital.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

Kids! don't you just love 'em!

Mugssy, I take it we won't be seeing much of you for a few days.;-)

I'm going to be busy till the weekend. I've rashly agreed to have a stall at the Autumn/Mother's Day Craft Fair at our local arts centre on Sunday, so I've got to pull my finger out and start making more of my safety pin jewellery.
I also have to do a trip to Fremantle on Friday for a board meeting at the Children's Literature Centre, and I'm still trying to get this new book finished before we go away in October. (10,000 words down, about another 40,000 to go!)

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

What's this book about She-ele? (if you can say)
Seems a bit daunting saying another 40,000 to go...lol but you would be used to it.

Sad news today, there is a couple who live on a yacht here in the harbour who have their boat up for sail as the wife didn't want to keep living on-board.... he died at approx 3.00am this morning.. don't know the full story yet, possibly a heart attack but very sad...

Not a lot of us live out in the habour and you get used to seeing them each morning.
