Very humid today, just a light sprinkle of rain this evening. Hardly even worth while calling it rain.

Morning all. I would offer coffee, but I have no milk.

I would offer toast, but I have no bread.

Guess who has teenagers in the house.

Guess who is heading into town this morning to restock.

AND!

Who was the genius that decided that TUESDAY was a good day to startt school holidays!?

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

Am feeling a bit tragic ATM.
My Miss 16 who is having ongoing problems recovering from a coccyx injury, was going to participate on a fantastic camp run by the Amanda Young Foundation, next week.
When she registered early in the school year she was going really well, & we thought she was on a very definite improve. Sadly, the last 3 - 4 wks have been yuk for her, suffers from side effects of her pain drugs. SO NO CAMP. My internal expletives count in the dozens, I can tell you...
So disappointed for her that this just continues & continues & continues...

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

And, yes I agree with you mouse - the school holidays are a strange set of days... bits & pieces-y.

Master10 saw I had a Light Saber in my room on the weekend. Sneaked it out, assuming it was for him. Cut away the packaging, stuffed packaging under bed, & put LightSaber in drawer under jocks.
So when I saw it was not where I put it, I went to ask him about it. He fessed up, then got quite the shock when I told him it was for a boy we know at school for his birthday.
Poor Master10, the colour drained from his face so fast, his lips went a funny colour, & his nose dripped blood.... I think it was a genuine shock reaction. Good thing I was not going off my nut at him! His eyes went all roll-y, I had to put my arms around him in case he fainted. He recovered quickly from all that, then started to cry. Oh dear...
Needless to say, I hope he's learnt a lesson, & I'm glad I'm not a ScreamNShout type parent...
