Thanks everyone - I'll pass your kind comments on to her proud daddy. She is such a happy baby, and not a bit shy. After the first 15 minutes or so when we just let her get used to our faces, she was quite happy to be picked up and cuddled and content to play with us even when dad was nowhere in sight. Come to think of it, I didn't hear her cry once.

her arrival in this world was actually a bit of a shock to the system - long story that I won't go into in public - but yes she is gorgerous and it was lovely having her here. Her dad and mum are not together, and it was really sweet of mum to allow my son to bring her down to meet us. He is absolutely wonderful with her - has her most weekends and clucks over her like an old mother hen - and she dotes on him.

Whatever the circumstances, she is lovely♥
