My ears were burning....

Hello beautiful people โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ

Yes, I'm back but not for long.

So much to tell but I don't want to bore you.

The wedding was totally fantastic, The wedding party were stunning.
I would looorve to show pics but don't think they'd want me to on ebay.
My darling daughter, the bride.... had such a good time she can barely remember it :^O...my son-in-law spent his wedding night looking after her... :^O

We've been back a couple of weeks now but to be honest I haven't been near the boards, just too much going on and haven't felt like writing, also been sick with the flu thingy that's around and taking forever to go for everyone.

Anyhow, we have some bad news and good news.

The good news (although I'm stressing about it all) is that we are most likely buying a house over in Qld.
I actually fly over again early next week to have a look at it (youngest girl and her fiance have been already for us), it's exciting but stressful as we have to take out another loan (we already have one for the acreage we have) and taking a new loan out at 50+ is a bit daunting. It's only really subject to me looking at it and liking it and inspections etc.

OH is prepared to stay here for a couple more years to work to pay a lot off, I will probably spend part time there and part time here as we 'had' an agreement that we would leave here after this season....(I've had enough of Dumpier)

We are still working on the motor here on the boat, getting a lot done, not as quick as we would like what with our jobs etc.
But we must get it all finished ASAP as the cyclone season is bearing down on us again.

The bad news is OH's Mum has breast cancer and is getting her breast removed at the end of the month, she is 78, we are very concerned and apparently under her arm her glands are very swollen and they don't know how far the cancer has spread.:(
She had a biopsy under the arm yesterday and we are waiting for that result.
She's mostly upset at the fact she'll likely lose her hair.
(bless her)

When I get back from QLD, (going for a week) OH may fly off to Victoria to see her.

There's more been going on but that's as condensed as I can get it.

I haven't read back, so I hope everyone is well, happy and enjoying themselves.

I'll pop in and out when I can, won't be so slack.

I'm also really sorry for the ridiculous long post!

Hi Tende, no worries about the long post.

Good luck with the house purchase.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

~~~Waves to Tende...I commented on Cat's threadโ™ฅ
No Hawk, no real problems on the one I have bought, just the usual pressure to finalise: "oh you wouldn't believe it but that day after you signed someone came and wanted to buy it and they were going to pay $20,000 more"
However I have spoken to my RE and we have fulfilled all requirements to date, and they can't take another offer until after 28th Nov, and even then it has to be cash.
I asked if they had it in writing and if it was cash "No", so just trying to jerk my lead and hurry things along I guess.
It's all out of my hands now, so I'm not going to stress about if. I have done what I can.
wow .... sounds fantastic tende .... so glad it went off really well ....pity about the piccies ....but probably a wise decision not to post them on here ๐Ÿ˜‰
oh dear .... I hope your MIL gets some good news tomorrow .... remember these days breast cancer is not a death sentence ....they can do so much more to cure people .... fingers crossed the lymph nodes are ok ....but even if they arent ...they can remove them and she will be ok without them ... sending healing (((hugs))) her way โ™ฅ
keelia ... dont take any nonsense from him .... I really think RE have to improve their images ...cos they come across as sleazy and not nice ....
