Hawk, I think she may have to wait until september, regardless of how many hours she has completed. The rules on getting your license are extraordinarily difficult over here, Im glad I did it so long ago.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

evening waussies .....

lic is right hawk ... once you take your license ...you have to display the L plate then you have a mandatory 6mth time period to do your 25hr log book in .... and cant take the perception test (on puta) until that time has elapsed ... once it has and she passes the perception test ... then she will be on her red Ps for another 6mths ... before being on her green Ps for another year (I think) .... so its two years all up before you can drive without an plates on your car...

missy is indeed a safe driver .... and a careful one also .... and will be well past the 25hrs by the time the 6mths is up .... I also think that driving her own car whilst doing the hours is beneficial to her as she learns all the quirks of her own car ... which she will be driving all the time ... ๐Ÿ˜‰

been on earlies this week and again next week ... so up at 4.45am ... and home before 4pm .... but had dentist appointment tonite .... and a swollen face .... so couldnt have my usual subway take-away for dinner .... ๐Ÿ˜ž .... but will have it tomorrow instead ๐Ÿ˜‰

have a great friday all ... nite ...

I agree with you Peela, about learning to drive in the car that you will be driving once you've got your license, although learning to drive a variety of cars is good too.

I was at the dentist today too no swelling, but lips, teeth and part of my nose (???) was numb for hours!

Nite all.

evening waussies ...

LOL .... lic we seem to have been doing the same yesterday .... had my subway for dinner tonite .... and yep my whole face was numb also .... until about 8pm .... ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ..... ended up cooking up a few snags and having them with some coleslaw .... ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think missy will be a better driver due to her driving her own car ... but she has driven mine and about 3 different ones when she was looking for a driving school .... but driving different cars is defintely beneficial to driving experience ...

hmmm sat down and tried to have a quick nanna nap .... but why is it when you do that ... the dogs have to see something that makes them woof their bloomin heads off .... therefore negating any chance of having that nanna nap ...or alternately the ruddy phone rings .... grrrr !!!

I bought my car about 6 or so months before I got my license too, Dad used to drive it down to Freo to pick me up from work so I could drive home. I think the major difference between when I was learning and now is, as a learner we were only allowed to do 72km/h, so no Tonkin or FWY driving. First time on the FWY was very scarey!

And this will be my last post, for at least 11 days, Im out of here! Have fun and behave everyone! ๐Ÿ˜„ BYE!!
