Sort of, Peela. They arent allowed to say that one childs hat was any better than another, so everybody wins. Yaaaayyyyyyyyyy!!! (end sarcasm) They all got an easter egg, which was eaten at lunchtime. One of the year 7 boys didnt have a hat, so he put his hands up on his head like bunny ears and hopped around the parade. And that is what Mr6 is aiming for next year. ๐Ÿ˜ It got more laughs than the other hats.

LOL DSK, I read it as cute the first time, I dont see spelling mistakes, unless they're so out there that I have to start reading the sentence again.

Twas a long day, Night night Waussies.

hmmm just not the same though is it ...with them all winning ....mind you some parents buy the hats ready made ....and that sucks also ..... I love the home made ones that are made using recycled stuff or toys you already have LOL

missy once made a hat out of newspapers .....ears the whole shebang ....and she also put her hands up in front and hopped around the parade ....:^O ...... she actually won ....she was so excited ..... all the kids still got an egg for participating ....

but that was back in the late 80s ..... a different time ๐Ÿ˜‰

nite waussies โ™ฅ

Yes, Peela. A different time. Kids were allowed to be better than others at some things and not so good at other things. They were allowed to win, lose, put in a great effort. But its all good, they had a great day anyway, 'forgot' to share the chocolates with Mummy, and are happy at the prospect of not having to be up by 7am and lounge around in their pj's til lunchtime for 2 weeks. LOL!

Morning all. I guess school holidays do have some compensations Lis. No early morning rush to get kids up, dressed and breakfasted, find the sports clothes they forgot to tell you they needed for today, and the excursion money that was mentioned in the note that has been sitting in their school bag since Monday of last week!
