The Official West Australia Thread!

yep, we've been here about, umm, minds gone blank but 3/4 years.

We're abit closer to town now, which is great and only 5 mins to the beach.

no neighbours, just farmland, heaven:-D

will take some pics soonish, still busy doing stuff etc. but hopefully things will setlle down once the sale of the other house is unconditional, well I should say, my mind should "settle".

Morning soul, morning lizzy, if you are both still there.

Morning all wauzzies

I slept very late today, got woken by a call from my girl in Syd.

I miss her, she misses us. Why is Australia soooo big hmmm?

She didn't seem so inaccessible when she was in Melb.:-(

Oh well she's coming home for Xmas.

Yep, you're right soul, QA for me LOL, I admit it, I'm obsessed!

Even while I am stitching away on one project, I am thinking about what I will do for the next one.

I need to live in the moment!

I have such yukky jobs to do today I wonder if I can procrastinate all day long.

I think I may have said the lawn man trimmed (haha like butchered) my beautiful trees and has left them all over the front lawn. I'm just waiting for a free council skip to be delivered, in the meantime they lie festering on the lawn, so I should try and break some of them up and put them in the small bin.

Or I could sew or read a book........

Have a great day all

Lizzy leave the couch where it is. Ratties will be sad if you take their house away:^O

morning jules.โ™ฅ

yep Australias huge, over here is like being in a different country....haven't seen my other kids for 6 years and for them to come here it costs so much as they'd have to stay for a while or it's not worth the money....cheaper to go to Bali for 2 weeks and they'd still get change....

....sew or read a book...both sound relaxing and best thing to do on a beautiful Sunday.......

haaa, ratties might be happy...but need to get my bond back... dang...

Evening all. Have a good night out Mugssy.

The good thing about moving, Bizzylizzy is it gives you a chance to throw out all that junk you hung onto because 'it just might come in handy one day'
God knows how I'd manage if we ever had to move - I'm a bit of a bower bird, and so is Mr Elephant (I collect shoes and he collects cables and switches) :^O

I got a new toy yesterday. I just happened to spot a Hardly Normal 'doorbuster' ad in the Saturday 'West' for a netbook going out for $199 after cashback. Mr Elephant nipped straight down there at 9.15 only to be told he was too late - the fine print in the ad said 8.00 a.m. till 9.0am only.
Nothing daunted Mr Elephant asked to see the manager and pointed out to him that we had spent nearly $1000 there last week bying a new Dyson, so he relented and let him have it at that price.
It's so tiny - like a toy - and pretty basic, but it will be great for travelling. I've wanted one for ages.
