That's the short story - here's the long one!
Mouse tried to phone me from a call box but it was out of order, so she emailed me at 10.03 to say she would google the cafe I had suggested and try to find her way there.
I noticed the email at 10.35, leapt in the car and got to the cafe at about 1045.
It was packed! I wandered round hopefully looking for someone matching the description Mouse had given me, and waving my little purple elephant - couldn't see her.
Sat on a bollard outside watching all the cars go by till 11.25 Decided Mouse had either got lost, gone to the wrong place or been stolen by gypsies.
Came home, switched on my lappy and found her second message, sent at 10.43 saying the cafe was so crowded she had gone to another place (my favourite fish and chippery) just round the corner.
Now sitting here tearing my hair! I had tro walk right past that place to get back to my car - if only I'd thought to poke my head round the door,
