QUESTION one: Why must people give their pets human names?
Question two: Which Twilight character is top dog?
Question three: Twilight. Really?
We found the answers to these puzzling queries in a comprehensive survey of 2.5 million dogs and cats conducted in the US state of Oregon, Discovery News reports.
Portland's Banfield Pet Hospital tallied the top names from 2012 and came up with 10 most popular monikers for our most popular family pets.
[Enough. Take me to the list. Now.]
OH always says if we got a dog it would be a German Shepherd and he would call it Schultz. We would also get a ginger tabby cat and call it Ranga.

Our boy moggy cat is called Garage, but Gary when he's being good ... :^O We called him that because he was dumped down the side of our garage 8 years ago as a kitten.
The Burmese girl cat is a choco torti, so of course, we had to call her Latte ... :8}

Interesting....... I've always given my dogs human names. Never thought about it before. When I need to find a name for a pet I use an old baby name book. I guess my dogs really are fur people 🙂
I have two dogs - Molly and Rose.

When I was a child we had any number of budgies in succession and they were all named Bluey. I think our dad was trying to trick us into thinking they hadn't really died :^O
