We found the answers to these puzzling queries in a comprehensive survey of 2.5 million dogs and cats conducted in the US state of Oregon, Discovery News reports.

Portland's Banfield Pet Hospital tallied the top names from 2012 and came up with 10 most popular monikers for our most popular family pets.

OH always says if we got a dog it would be a German Shepherd and he would call it Schultz. We would also get a ginger tabby cat and call it Ranga.

I would have thought Oscar would be one of the most popular dogs names as honestly every 2nd one i meet is called that. 

Bella dogs are everywhere.

Shelby was named after the mustang

Elsie was named from the letters L&C (little critter)

Oscar the bird is for the fact the is a wild bird=Oscar Wild Bird

Funny that, I have never thought of names being human or animal...  duh! 🙂

I have Harry the Heeler sort of after my son who was OS at the time I got him.
