The reason why Tony Abbott will pull off the election of a generation is because he has drawn Australians back to the sensible centre of politics.

He is also only the 2nd opposition leader who narrowly won then lost  an election then led the party to a win the 2nd time.

Labor has lost all the so Called blue collar Howard battlers, the backbone of Labor voters & they have also lost the so called inner city latte voters who have deserted Labor for the Greens.

Abbott is now in the position of having to outline how he will manage the economy after he inherits  an economic landscape devastated by Labor,  littered with unexploded mines while Rudd has said little of substance running a dishonest scare campaign.

When all else fails for Labor we are confronted with  the re emergence of the misogyny wars after the demise of Julia Gillard. The outcry of the "sex appeal" by the elitists has backfired & gifted Fiona Scott the prize seat of Lindsey seeing the exit of David Bradbury. A innocent remarf blown up out of all proportion is just he type of thing fair dunkum Australians see nothing wrong with & are fed up with the interference & PC of a meddling government.

We are then presented with a PM who has the ability to lie to Australians by manipulating the crisis in Syria for political gain & expecting Australians to swallow it. He expects us to fall for the  staged photo op in Canberra with no minister for defence or any high level advisers, this done because the cooking show was leaked.

The straight talking honest campaign speech Tony Abbott delivered yesterday was the lifeline Australia needs, no grand cash splashes, no verbose overblown rhetoric we are so used to from Rudd & even worse under Gillard, no repetitive "moving forward or  A new Way " rote Australians were subjected to all the while seeing through it.

Australians will reject Rudd, the sophist, & it's not just the flick of the hair, the lick of the lips, it's his ability to lie with a straight face.

This election can be compared to watching a horse race with Black Cavier in it & Labor hoping she can't win.

Looks like  labor on here have been given their song sheet for the  dying days of the Labor government.

The directive has been given out to go for News Corp at every opportunity. This is their strategy to try to counter their appalling showing in the polls.

He tried to blame polls on Labor's poor record, now this is astonishing in itself but to spout voters are directed to whom they want to vote for because of polls shows just how out of touch they are with the people of Australia. This is the arrogance that will decimate them come Sept.

We were subjected to the bitter cranky union heavy ranting on Q & A but he was laughed at & mostly ignored & had to be cut short continuously by Jones. Has anybody noticed that Shorten NEVER  answers a question? he just launches into a campaign speech? he's been doing this for months, like he can, single handedly, save Labor.

Loved the young woman who asked him about his machinations in the demise of Rudd then Gillard then putting Rudd back in. It staggers belief that this man thinks he is helping Labor, with a mindset like his it's no wonder they have failed in government/.

Labor has now abandoned any hope to save many seats in QLD & NSW. They are sandbagging the seats they hope to hold onto.

Western Sydney is goiong to be a bloodbath. Surely Labor cannot believe that the dishonest scare campaign will work?  Even the cut cut cut by Rudd in the 1st week has been dropped for what it was, just like the moving forward that ridiculed Julia so much.

The Murdock attacks are ramping up & can someone tell me that a failed labor mp from UK is more qualified to comment on our election than anybody local. A ring in imported expressly to demonize Murdoch. Transparent again & looking quite silly that they think we can't see through it.

This election will shine a light on just how not to run a campaign by importing Obama & UK Labor spin doctors to try to influence us. The Obama like USA style of cold calling nearly 1 million people this week & up intil the election is not going to work here, we are not America
