I wonder what you (and other ladies) would say if the same drug affected person was assaulting you like this bloke
did his missus (god I hate that phrase), or worse, and the Police came and caught him in the act.
Would you consider it OTT if it took 8 Police to get him off you ?
As a number of others have posted, drug affected / ice induced people can have super human strength.
In Vic many years ago, when a whole load of mentally ill people were let out, the Vic Police were shooting a fair few people.
A lot were up in arms / got on the outrage bus because a lot were mentally ill and so a review occured and Police went through a whole level of retraining plus I think Capsicum spray and / or Tasers were introduced - which some of the same people who were outraged at the shooting were also outraged at this !!!
Anyway, some time later an offender was tasered and a Press conference was held.
After the info presented by one very Senior Policeman, a Journo asked a question about the use of a Taser
and wasn't their an alternative.
In a straight faced, direct to the point answer, the very Senior Policeman said "the alternative is a lot more lethal"
or words to that effect. The effect on the room was immediate.
I have never forgotten that and realised then that the outrage bus people would never be happy whatever anyone did.
