I don't have all the entries as I lost my hard drive earlier in the year, and many photos are removed by the posters after the thread is finished. I'm sorry if your photo isn't included, it's not a personal exclusion. Either I no longer have the photo, or the constraints of the collage format meant I had to leave some out.

I loved the photo thread but for certain reason I will not post any more photos.

It was lovely idea and just want to thank you Pimpy for starting it.

Rust was one of my favorites as well.

i loved the rust theme, but in the collage for the love of colour looks stunning.

Im also taking a break from the photo threads as it seems many are. They were great while they lasted but like anything on CS it doesnt last. Hopefully one day they (pimpy) will be back raring to go.

I guess in the mean time though i will continue to do what pimpys thread was all about to start with.

did you search back the old winners/challenges threads lion, about a month ago or so?

i see a transition there where the author of these challenges stopped hosting them

i guessing thats where it stems from and not about pics being legit or not.

the rust theme was one of my favs too (& not coz i chose it either

seriously why does it even matter that pimpy is not doing them? People can walk away from CS from ebay, from threads without the need of an explanation

i missed the rust theme and i love rust. i have no idea whats going on and don't want to know, i hope the photo thread keeps going.

I don't get peoples fixation with other people.

Like Chuk, I will challenge myself and try to make time to learn more about photography.

I would still participate in a photo thread. There are some themes that some posters  wont have photos that suit and it is not the sort of theme that you can go out and take a snap off, so you may not be able to contribute sometimes.

Where you can go out and 'look' for things to photograph that fit the theme, for example The Yellow theme, it makes a thread easier for more to participate.
